Vitamin C Power Punch Smoothie
On days when me or the kids aren't feeling so well, sometimes a bit of extra vitamin C is just what we need! This is a fun recipe you can use as a smoothie, a protein shake, or freeze in popsicle molds for a yummy summer treat!
In a blender combine:
1/2 cup full fat coconut milk
1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk
5-6 strawberries
1/2 mango
1 banana
2 doinks stevia
1 Tbsp Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
1 tsp (or 4,000 mg) vitamin C crystals (we get ours from Trader Joes but NOW brand also has some, too)
1 scoop protein powder (optional)
1 cup of ice
Blend for several minutes until well combined and smooth.
Bottoms up to good healthy and immune boosting superfood power!
